   Sandro Kopp es un artista alemán que ahora reside en Escocia que ha dado una vuelta de tuerca a los tradicionales retratos. Sandro realiza sus retratos a través de conversaciones de chat con webcam por skype. Conceptualmente introduce la era digital en los tradicionales retratos a partir del modelo natural, y técnicamente introduce la inestabilidad de la red y la imagen (como zonas pixeladas o veladas) dentro de la representación pictórica. Pero este proceso, como él explica, fue mucho más natural de lo que parece. A Sandro Kopp no le gusta hacer sus retratos a través de fotos, ya que dice perder el intercambio entre el artista y el ambiente que quiere representar, así que un amigo se ofreció para una sesión por webcam. 
   Sandro tiene retratos de gente tan conocida como Tilda Swinton, Ryan McGinley o Haider Ackermann.
   Esta serie de retratos se llama "Being with you" y se puede ver en el festival Instancool de Turquía.


   Sandro Kopp is a German artist, who now lives in Scotland, has given a twist to tradictional portraits. Sandro paints this portraits via webcam chat conversations on Skype. Conteptually introuces the digital age in the traditional portraits of natural models, and technically introduces the instability of the network and the image ( like pixelated areas or veiled ) in the pictorical representation. But this process, as he explains, was much natural than it looks. Sandro Kopp doesn´t like doing portraits from photogrpahs, because it loses the exchange between the artist and the atmosphere he wants to represent, so a friend offered him a session via webcam.
   Sandro has done portrats of well known people as Tilda Swinton, Ryan McGinley or Haider Ackermann.
